GLUED SHADES
I have an old wooden staircase in my house that was covered in carpet for many years. A few years ago I removed all the carpet and revealed the true beauty of the stairs. As I walked down the stairs this morning I saw the sunlight coming in and creating an interesting pattern on the stairs. Funnily enough, I could still see some of the glue (which normally is invisible) that used to hold the carpet in place, but I really liked the pattern.
